The term used for designed fabrics made in the technique whereby a delicate pen-like instrument made of bamboo is used to draw and apply wax as resist to create forms that are later dyed or painted over. Paint is also applied directly on to the fabrics in this manner.

All our Pashmina Shawls / Scarves are Handwoven on Handloom, using Purest Pashmina and in order to satisfy our customers, we get the quality of our products tested at the Pashmina Testing & Quality Certification Centre, Craft Development Institute (CDI) - Srinagar, the only Pashmina / Cashmere testing Lab in India. This Lab is established by Office of Development Commissioner, Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India.

The original certificate/report provided by the above lab is sent with your order for your reference.
